Add Re:amaze Chat to your Re:amaze Help Site FAQ

With Re:amaze, you can insert your Shoutbox widget into your FAQ with a simple copy and paste. Before moving forward, make sure your brand’s public site is enabled. You can do this by going to Settings > Brands > See all settings. From this page, confirm that the "Enable help site" option has been checked. Additionally, you should already have a chat widget built. If you don't, you can learn how to do this, here.

To get started, navigate to Settings > Chat Widgets.

  • From this page, click "View Code." Now all you have to do is highlight the code under the "Manual Publishing" section. You can also choose to have your code emailed to you.

  • Next, you will need to paste the code you just copied. To do this, head over to Settings > Brands > See all settings > Custom CSS and Meta Headers.

  • Scroll down until you see the "Meta" field and paste your code here. If you have content already in this box, simply paste beneath it.

  • Next, you will need to add the installation script below into the same Meta field. Make sure you add this script below the chat widget code you provided.

  • Lastly, you will need to add this CSS to the Custom CSS Stylesheet: .popup #reamaze-widget { display: none }
