Updating or changing your Shopify theme can affect elements connected to your storefront, including your Re:amaze Chat Widget and Cues. If your chat widget or cues are no longer visible after a theme update, republishing them usually resolves the issue.
Republish Your Chat Widget
To republish your Chat Widget:
- Go to Settings > Chat Widgets.
- Select Unpublish from Shopify.
- After the widget has been unpublished, select Publish to Shopify.
Republish Your Cues
If your Cues are no longer visible, follow the same process:
- Go to Settings > Cues.
- Select Unpublish from Shopify.
- After the cues have been unpublished, select Publish to Shopify.
Republishing reconnects the Chat Widget and Cues to your current Shopify theme so they appear correctly on your storefront.
